The Crocker Art Museum celebrated all things comics, cartoons and pop culture at its 10th iteration of CrockerCon on Sept. 12.
The event featured panel talks with cartoonist Keith Knight (“The K Chronicles,” “(Th)ink,” “Hulu’s Woke”), comic book artist Darick Robertson (“The Boys,” “Transmetropolitan,” “Happy”), local artist Nooligan and animator Amber Rankin.
Attendees were also treated to a live-animated comedy show hosted by LA-based comedian Brandie Posey and the chance to mingle with comic book creators, cartoonists and over 40 exhibitors from California.
Other featured activities included dance and music with DJ crew The Sleeprockers, live-build legos with the Sacramento Brick Builders, locally developed video games from the Sacramento Developers Collective, board games, swordplay and cosplay.

The 10th anniversary event celebrated a decade of creativity and community. The landmark celebration not only continued the love of comic books and pop culture but also looked to inspire new generations interested in expressing their ideas.
