ICE CREAM

Ice cream is one of the highlights of summer and quite possibly could top the list. You don’t need an expensive ice cream machine to enjoy homemade ice cream. We’ll show you the easiest way to make this delicious treat at home with just two ingredients. 

When you make your own ice cream, you combine fresh, rich ingredients with the flavorings and add-ins of your choice, for a delectable experience.

VANILLA BEAN ICE CREAM

You will need:

  • Condensed milk – 1 can
  • Heavy whipping cream – 500 ml

Preparation:

Start by whipping cold, heavy cream for about two to three minutes until the cream forms soft peaks. Once whipped, add in the condensed milk. Be sure that both ingredients are very cold when you combine them. Add in vanilla extract, which is optional, and whip until stiff peaks form, another two to three minutes. Freeze for 15 minutes and enjoy!

WONDERBERRY ICE CREAM

You will need:

  • One bag (10-ounces) frozen mixed berries, or any other frozen fruit.
  • Condensed milk – 1 can

Preparation:

Blend both ingredients until the texture becomes silky and smooth.

Tip: Add in additional ingredients, chocolate syrup, nuts, or sprinkles, and you’ve just created your own ice cream recipe.

My favorite way to eat it is straight out of the blender, but you can also freeze it, so it is firm enough to scoop out and serve in cones.  This sweet treat is just as delicious as real ice cream, but without the added sugar, eggs, or ice cream maker.
