We are living in very unprecedented and uncertain times. COA Elementary looks quite empty without our wonderful students, and we miss them all so much. As a school, COA Elementary is keeping all of our students, their families, and our entire community in our thoughts and prayers.

We continue to provide our students with the best education possible remotely. Our teachers have prepared educational packets for parents to pick up to guide distance learning from home. We take education and our students’ academic success very seriously and provide online lessons for students with their teachers on a regular basis. Most teachers meet with their students daily or at least twice a week and continue to educate them remotely.

Our specialty teachers meet one on one with students to better support them. We offer many additional resources on our school website (, including Russian language video lessons and physical education video lessons. Music, Art, STEAM, and Project Lead The Way video lessons and assignments are also available on the website.

Our teachers also provide additional online resources for students to further enrich their education. Our students’ academic success is COA Elementary School’s top priority, and we are doing everything possible to ensure they get the best education possible. We care about our students and continue to support their social emotional learning through daily morning messages and character education virtual assemblies. COA’s student leadership is continuing their meeting virtually as well.

Our social media sites are filled with resources, activities, and even celebrity read alouds. We have the most amazing teachers and support staff working remotely to help our students and their families succeed. “Whatever it takes, our kids are worth it” is our school motto, and all of our staff members are dedicated to continuing to do “whatever it takes,” even from home.

We look forward to welcoming our students back to school in the 2020-2021 school year.
